Overview
Africa is where cloud ERP is growing fastest and where in continent hosting has only recently become practical. Microsoft Azure and AWS now run regions in South Africa, so latency and data residency no longer force a choice between the cloud and the continent. Several countries have brought in modern privacy law (South Africa's POPIA, Nigeria's Data Protection Act, Kenya's Data Protection Act) and we deploy so that residency and lawful processing are designed in from the start rather than argued about later.
